The Origin of Voice Share
In March 2018, on the day before the Easter weekend, Greg Frankson found himself out of a job and with few available options, at a crucial turning point in his life. He was in the midst of pursuing a lawsuit related to actions taken by others that had seriously damaged his business. He had three daughters to support financially. The stresses of life were making it difficult for him to keep his mental health together. After granting himself one day to throw a pity party on Good Friday, Greg woke up on Saturday morning determined to move forward with passion and purpose to secure his own future, to create a legacy for his daughters and to contribute positively to society more generally.
Upon deeper reflection, Greg recognized that he had become highly skilled at researching and absorbing information, reformatting and translating the information into a new form and then sharing it with others — either as poetry, music, writings or speeches — over the preceding two decades. He loved doing this kind of work, and knew if he could create systems to transfer his knowledge and methodologies to other people, he could help others become impactful, motivating and inspired communicators, whether it was with one, one hundred or one thousand people.
Though he didn’t have a name for it yet, that was the day Voice Share was born.
Our “Why” for Voice Share
Greg doesn’t want anyone to ever feel like their voice had been silenced, especially by people who wish them nothing but ill will. He wants everyone to feel like they have the tools to move their lives forward, so they don’t suffer the way he did when he faced his worst personal and professional crises. Greg wanted to help people to overcome their personal crises and emerge with a much better skill set and mindset than they would have been otherwise. Voice Share is how we pursue this goal guided by our core values — empathy, passion and purpose.

The Meaning Behind the Logo
The Voice Share logo is a stunning visual representation of the company’s vision, mission and core purpose.
At its centre is the person sharing their voice, represented by the turquoise “V” and gold dot that together depict a person with their arms extended. To the left and right, sound waves extend outwards to show how one voice can carry a long way once it has been raised.
The two indigo arrows that form an “S” shape around the central image show how the voice of one person can not only reverberate locally but can also be heard globally. This is a reflection of Voice Share’s vision, which is rooted in our belief that one person’s voice can change the world.
Our Corporate Colours:
The Voice Share Brand in Three Shades
Turquoise represents open communication from and between the heart and the spoken word and encourages creativity. It relates to the electronic age and the world of computers, and communication on a larger scale. It is linked to calmness, serenity, introspection and peace of mind, as well as to mental clarity.
Indigo is a very spiritual colour linked to increased intuition and perception. It suggests fairness and integrity and is related to devotion and helping others. It is associated with rituals and traditions and implies a need for organization. It is linked to creativity and spatial thinking, having a special relation to arts performed on the stage.
Gold is colour of inner wisdom, quality and wealth; associated with abundance, prestige and luxury; implies generosity of time, money and spirit. It is the colour of success, achievement and triumph; optimistic and positive, gold adds richness and warmth to everything with which it is associated.
