Raym Guillermo
Lead Presentation Designer

Raym Guillermo is a key contributor to the development of Voice Share Inc.’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) presentations, training programs, and strategic directions.

Raym is best known for his experiential empowerment presentations; past participants remarked that “they are dynamic and engaging,” and that Raym’s genuine empathy and trustworthy disposition is palpable upon meeting him. Raym guides participants through a series of verbal prompts as they practice articulating their thoughts, and Raym subtly builds their confidence as each publicly shares within their cohorts. In essence, Raym helps his participants take ownership of their personal stories by speaking their array of words into existence.

Raym is also a skilled mediator who has offered his conflict-resolution skills for over fifteen years on the frontline of community and protective services. As an advocate for employing the arts to increase mental health and wellness, Raym has also co-designed “legacy writing workshops” used in some correctional facilities in central Ontario. These legacy workshops have been the catalyst for healing for participating incarcerated inmates, including young adults and elders belonging to various addictions groups.

On occasion, Raym has been invited to share words in the spirit of reconciliation during indigenous ceremonial openers. Prior to the shift to digital delivery necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Raym enthusiastically facilitated in-person workshops in remote villages north of the 60th parallel, as far south as Central America, and while working with the poor in the Philippines.

Raym sometimes incorporates performance poetry into his presentations, sharing both lighthearted and serious topics with audiences that relate to the human condition. When you hear him share you may have to buckle yourself in as he takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. His writing workshops often encourage participants to seek and share wisdom, knowledge, and truth from deep within their own hearts.

Raym is a talented professional presenter, coach, and collaborator with whom any organization should be pleased to partner or collaborate with on projects that requires creativity, powerful communications, and artistic flair.
